There's a real danger that the left will drag Britain back to the 1970s, with secure well-paid jobs, ample housing, properly-funded NHS and social care, free tuition, student grants, final salary pensions, affordable rail fares and fabulous films and music. David Osland 2025

toast, this is great it's like bread but warm, things you need bread you can get this in a shop or make your own, things to look out for if buying for a shop the bread my come in a bag, remove bread from bag and cut bread with a knife, look for a cooker or toaster a toaster looks like a radio but had one or two holes in the top, place your bread in the toaster making sure you've put the plug on pull the leaver down, don't worry your bread has not disappeared after a set time your bread will jump up to tell you it's hot and done, remove the bread with is now called toast you can now add jam or butter and enjoy.

Went to Hurst's to get a butty, asked for cheese and tomato but when I got back it was ham and tomato. So I ended up with a tomato butty and the cats got the ham .

Home made oggies using Rick Stein's Food Heroes recipe. That is an excellent one, the real thing. The Madras Curry in the same book is also spot on.

Mushrooms, mash & carrots

As Snowhite dealt it up, I guess that makes me a dwarf or a Prince. While I meet some of the criteria for Grumpy I have a slight problem being mistaken for a dwarf yumyum

Tesco tinned tomato soup (which is nicer than Heinz in my opinion - tastes like Heinz used to) and salad sandwiches with a lot of grated beetroot in them , made with Aldi honey soaked seeded bloomer.
