we won't get a vaccine, can't get one for flu, i could be wrong, but so far i haven't! Eh? You can get a flu jab from your chemists for about £13, free if over 65

Have to admit that this last week has been very much quieter on my road than the previous week.
Still got the speed merchants, one of which nearly knocked me off the road when overtaking me a couple of days ago. I was so furious I nearly raced after them, but decided that could lead to all sorts of issues . When granny gets cross, it's not a pretty sight.
Anyway, here to tell the tale.
It's a bit busier this morning but Fri/Sat seem to be anyway, due to weekend shopping etc.

You can get a flu jab from your chemists for about £13, free if over 65 Which some years doesn't work because they have to take a wild guess as to what similar strains it might have morphed into. There are at least eight strains of Coronavirus with two major branches the last time I checked. They have never developed an effective vaccine for the common cold virus which is one of the most expensive regular diseases we have.
