Does anybody else use the View Ranger app? It is great for creating your own GPX walking routes which you can then download to your phone so you don't get lost.

Here is a sample of one of my walks. https://my.viewranger.com/route/details/MzQ5NTUyOQ==?ref=53.365903542203924|-3.1143934908263593|13 I have found this to be the best app to create a route on your computer and download it to your phone, then follow it using your phones GPS. Or you could download this route and follow it, and it's free.

I use the Android app "Maverick". You can download 1:25000 OS maps onto it before you go out.

unfortunately it doesn't seem to have a webpage where you can easily plan your routes, which is so much easier via a laptop or PC browser. https://www.viewranger.com/en-gb
