my friend has had his car stolen!

its a dark blue corsa 1.7dti. reg no ML52WWS.

he left it parked outside his flat in chester (a nice part aswel) whilst he went in 4 a shower! double locked the doors etc..
came down 10 mins later 2 find the car GONE!! no broken glass no nothing.

last time he seen it was approximatley 4.30pm on saturday afternoon.

if any1 sees this car around please dont hesistate 2 call me on 07894874058 as my mates fone was in the car aswel. and maybe if u know any1 selling a sony ericsson fone cnt rememba wat 1 but its a walkman slidy 1 and a sony in car cd player with sony xplode spakers aswel!!!

Any distinguishing features ?

only real things that wer diffrent was the arial. shark fin style like on a bmw and the speakers have been resprayed to the colour of the car, nothing 2 major. the bad thing is tho that he has bought an irmshir (however u spell it) body kit 4 the car but aint got no car 2 put it on now!

I`d be straight to the previous owner me!

If its been nicked its either been dragged on to a low loader, or as Toto said, the previous owner still have some keys and has taken it back.

A car that new will have a chip in the key, and you cant drive the car without it.

just checked our VNPR system and it was last seen on our site on 22/6/07 leaving car park C. I have put the information into the computer so if it comes on again we will take the correct action.

i will keep a eye out for you mate i work in chester and drive all around the area so will write the reg down and keep my eyes open

yer i thought bout who he bought it off an he lives by my gf so thought ad drive dwon but no luck. it wudnt hav bin able 2 b towwed in 10 ins coz he lives in a sort of culdisac and it takes atleast 5 turns just 2 tun in the road....

pretty sure the system whelan is talking about is number plate recognition, smart cctv cameras automatically reads the numberplate of every car that enters the site and logs it onto a database. A certain reg can be entered onto an alert list and when/if the camera's pick it up entering the site, then sercurity/management etc will get an automatic alert pop up or similar.

Does it have a counter, to tell how many times a certain car has been on site within a certain time.

Wot have the police said ? Can they not trace the mobile that was in the car, as they all constantly give off a signal as they keep 'in touch ' with transmitters as they pass them...

my mate aint herd anythin from the police yet sohu eva has it has changed the number plates. little gits!!!!!!
