coming along well but have to agree with matty the wheel should stay with the kind of cars like civics etc not bmb, bmw's are meant to be classy and sophisticated. Hope its runs okay when all completed keep up the good work
got the arse end of the exhaust fitted and it fits perfect
just need a few more hangers and fixings to hold the other side.
Only problem is, I have a fairly big hole in my boot above where the exhaust needs to be fitted so I need someone to weld it for me as I have no welding skills or tools.
Just needs a plate welding over it and perhaps a stud welding to it too so I can hang the exhaust off it.
Have to say, Im quite impressed with the way the ehxaust looks though, I'm proud of myself lol.
Just gotta get the rest of the system so its easy to swap the cat and the pipe around come MOT time. All that I need to do then is fit the inlet side, wire up my fan, fit a new cambelt, get a new HT lead sensor or new HT leads, oil, water e.t.c then ready to run

I've know about it for a while, just forgot about it and didnt think that the otehr part of the exhaust would be sitting directly underneath it

Gunna by myself an arc welder and teach myself how to weld
Got my cambelt fitted last weekend, so its all timed up, just needs a couple more bits til its running (fingers crossed!).
I need a bit of mid-section flexible exhaust to join the downpipe to the decat pipe, a timing sensor (probably from BMW Dealer), connect pipes/tubes and cables/sensors, weld the hole in my boot and weld a bracket for the exhaust, buy oil, water and ATF oil.
Heres a couple of pics anyway:
cambelt is stil slack in the bottom pic as I took it before I tightened it, turned it over twice and re-tightened it
