Grove Road Wallasey as seen from the junction with Wallasey Village by Grove Road station. The big cream coloured building to the right is still there (Grove Mansions) as is the white coloured house just off centre with blue/ green roof in the tinted postcard - red in the current photograph.

I have been for a walk along Grove Road this morning.
The white coloured building with the green roof just off centre on the old postcard is now Grove Medical centre (opposite the start of St Georges Road) and does now have a red tile roof.
Looking up Grove Road as in the pictures then currently in Grove Road there is a large building with a grey/ green roof. However that is a modern roof on Grove House Hotel opposite the Nelson. The same building is just about visible on the postcard as the third large building on the left.
