Go and drive a proper car..ie soemthing with at least 250 to 300bhp...thats designed to be a proper car...and then come back and tell me that a shitty micra is a "great car"....otherwise stop fkin wasting everyones time

some small pokey cars are fun to drive though auditastic, ie the old 1.3 mini's or the metro gta's.

I have driven an m5 (new shape one) for 2 weeks, an S5 and S4 and can honestly say that they all brought as bigger smile to my face as the mini's and metro's, even the saxo's have their own smile factor to them. Its about variation bud. The micra isn't a super hac, but i bet it will be more fun than most powerful cars on the road

so on that that, i'll pput it in the great car class.

Ill never need a 300bhp car tbh, so I guess ill never have a proper car. A ZS180 will do me just nicely.

I have a few mates over in the US, who would say that unless you drive a 500bhp+ 8mpg muscle car, you aint driven a proper car, so I guess it's personal preference...

I would have to agree with your mates in the US......
Nothing to do with personal preference....simply put the reaction times/handling and ability of a car with 200 bhp is significantly different to that of a micra...
Without getting on my soap box and shoving my views down other peoples necks...I would like to point out a few things.
The law considers me to be and expert driver/witness.
I had to undergo significantly more training to drive the high power cars....
I am an experienced officer in my field of expertise.
There is no way that any tubord micra will have any similarities in driving styke to a big...high powered engine in a sorted chasiss.
i know what im talking about therefore....when i say the micra WONT be a great car...it may be quick in acceleration...but thats where it stops..theres far more to cars performance than just in a straight line accleration performance.

IM sure, that in all the years of watching Police camera action, there has only ever been one case where they didnt catch the criminals.

In that instance, they were driving a Micra, because no matter how fast a Volvo T5 is etc, it doesnt have the 1st and 2nd gear "nippiness" of a Micra, nor can it fit down alleyways particulalry well.

On a side note, I reckon that from doing my Rally School day in a 180hp MKII Escort, Id have better car control than a lot of the people in America who drive these 500hp beasts...with a fraction of the power. Thats why America are shite in the Motorsport World. Oh, except Nascar, because theyre the only ones who do it

Let's be honest here, American muscle car's don't feature handling, the steering wheel is only there for show. They, more than any other car probably, only travel in a straight line. They are all grunt and no class. That does'nt detract from their status, but they are hardly a good advert for handling or reaction times?

on motorways..they are fine...straight line..nt bad...dnt like front wheel drive..hence why im just about to buy a 330d as a replacemnt for the audi

totally dissagree bud, there are good for their own reasons, they are not trying to be a super car, nissan build the skyline for that, they are trying to to be the same small easy to dive car, but with a bit of poke, fun driving,. tbh i'd have more fun in this car than i would in an expensive sports car simply because it will be more fun to chuch around with out fear of wasting 50k +

if you were a half decent driver...you wouldnt fear "chuckin around a 50+k car...."
