Wow thanks for that Diggindeeper much appreciated thumbsup my great granfather used to have this pub and he said it was haunted by an old landlord who hung himself from the banister on the top floor.(he's probably haunting it now hehe) ghost

My mates mum and dad own this pub, he lives upstairs often says he hears weird noises at night. nice little pub with a huge beer garden!!

A sea captain lived in a house at the top of the hill (?late 1800's early 20th century) he had a monkey who used to run up the steps. I think I heard it was seen running up the steps as the pair returned from a trip

Does anybody know when the above pic was taken? (black and white one) as my great grandfather's surname was H Ogley and that name above the door seems a short one. Shame I can't make it out.
