Hi I have been doing research on my family history and found that my 2nd great grand uncle, Samuel Hutchinson, was the publican in the Manor Arms in both the 1871 & 1881 England census. Samuel lived there with his wife Betsy and children. Thanks for the photo Cheers Jane
I played in a band called Raffles at this pub for about 5 years in the late 80's /early 90's...fabulous pub...mega stay behinds!!
regulars were great characters... and it was comical when all the camell lairds workers would walk in about 1am in their boiler suits ..couple of pints then sneak back into work .....miss it!
