Does anyone remember these? When 'draught' mixers were introduced, they were served in these 'mini carafes', about 4 inches tall. They were marked on the side so that you got the same amount as in a normal mixer bottle. It didn't last very long, I think most of them got pinched!

Mark, the Horse and Jockeys on Arrowe Park Road are a bit mixed up (probably my fault). As the one Horse and Jockey was replaced by The Arrowe Park Hotel, I imagine its pictures should be with the Arrowe Park Hotel. I would suggest the following: No 413:- Move the first picture in my post to No 12, Arrowe Park Hotel. Move the second picture from my post and the posts from derekdwc and phillhere to No 13, Horse and Jockey. Remove No 413 No 13:- Move your post (quoting derekdwc) to No 12, Arrowe Park Hotel. Hope this makes sence

The last time I went in The Brit was 1992, the day I finished at Lairds.
I only had 4 pints although my wife didn't believe me! First pint wasn't too good so it was suggested we went on Aussie whites. A large Aussie was a half pint glass to the rim and 6 of these later all I could do was stagger back down Green lane and go and collect my stuff!
