I'm not sure when they were built, but it was certainly before 1858, as they appear on maps of that date - though at that time Bedford Place was actually named Russell Place. They don't appear on the Tithe Map, so a good bet would be that they were built some time in the late 1840s to early 1850s.
Yes, I'm convinced the Mersey Road houses were built about he same time as Rock Park, 1837-50, as the designs of the houses and gate posts are so similar.
