I remember when we first moved to the area just over 25 years ago, there wasn't even traffic lights at that junction, now that was fun!! Especially when icy coming down from Bessborough Road.

I'm surprised there's not more accidents at those traffic lights, or perhaps there are plenty and i just don't know about them. As a regular user of those lights, it never ceases to amaze me how little knowledge drivers have when it comes to what is the correct lane to be in. If the authorities ever want to make a few bob, they only need to set themselves up there for a few hours and dish out tickets for dangerous driving, they would make a fortune.
