I paid 114 at Tesco last night for diesel. That is a rip off if it's true.

will be no more protests because the GREENS have taken over and you have got to be priced off the road for the good of the planet. Your carbon foot print is been watched by big brother.

There's a petrol station near my mate's house, it's 125.9 a litre, and down the road, it's 110.9, and there were people in the expensive one. I'm surprised they get any custom.

I don't see the issue - simple law of business, supply and demand. They are free to charge what they want, and if they make an acceptable profit at x-amount, they will continue to charge that much. Maybe the expensive petrol stations simply don't want to be dealing with peasents, maybe they attract a higher class of people who just don't give a damn about prices, personally id probably avoid a petrol station charging 10p a litre higher than the norm for a particular area, but thats just personal preference. Down by my dads, (Herefordshire countryside) the petrol is always 15p per litre higher than around here, sometimes even more, we don't realise how lucky we have it in all honest, we have some of the cheapest fuel prices in the country within Merseyside. And at the end of the day, its only fuel, and its only money.

Anyone using a petrol station charging 15p higher per litre than one less than a mile down the road is either family or wants to show everyone he has more 15p's than everyone else. The south/London is expensive on most things though, although some have fuel a few p more than us, so there's not much difference.

Most people are like me, haven't got a clue what petrol costs, i just pull in and buy it whenever i need it, at whatever station I'm passing at the time, i should be more vigilant and on the ball because i run a van that only does about 3 lamp posts to the gallon, on saying that I'd probably waste more diesel looking or going for cheaper.

I remember there was a news item on Granada Reports about where in the area you could still get fuel for less than a pound a gallon, Bob Greaves I think it was.
