Has anyone used the stairs to get from platform to street level at Hamilton Square? I did it ONCE - and by heck once is enough. Must be 10-12 floor levels. I was knackered.
Conway Park is much the same but at least THEY post a notice at the station level warning you how many steps

I am afraid my poor old knees would not take it these days!
I've only just seen this thread. The second photo in the first post is, I think, James Street. James street platforms are straight (except at the Liverpool Central end) whereas Hamilton Square's are curved. Regarding the ghost; I never saw one when I used to do night turns at James Street signal box.

you are correct james street is straight at the HS end HS is a complete curve
