Wirral Discovers February to April join Kelda a giant puppet a Viking girl who once lived in the Wirral. She has travelled into the present and with the aid of her very keen (but slightly geeky) archaelogist guides, is curious to meet and communicate with the current residents and learn about the treasures of the Wirral of today. Join her on her trail around Wirral to discover some amazing facts about the peninsula.

Kelda continues on her ‘Wirral Discovers’ trail
This weekend (12th and 13th March) sees Kelda, a 2.5 metre tall, beautifully crafted puppet continue on her trail through the Borough as she meets the people and children of Wirral and visits Brimstage Hall Craft Centre as part of the ‘Wirral Discovers’ public art event.
Kelda, created to embody the spirit of Wirral, will interact, play and perform for visitors at Brimstage Hall as they hold a ‘Wonderland Weekend’ based on the family favourite, Alice in Wonderland. Kelda and the children will be given a tour of Brimstage Hall and its gardens and will meet characters from the famous story such as the Mad Hatter, Queen of Hearts and the White Rabbit. All of the shops and the restaurant will be playing their part to make your visit to Brimstage a ‘Wonderland Weekend’ for all the family.
Each trail lasts 40 minutes and start at the following times; 11am, 1pm, 2.30pm on both Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th March. To find out more or to book your child’s place contact Brimstage Hall Craft Centre on 0151 342 9080.
