Very sorry to hear it.

One of Hannah's best friend killed herself coming up to 3 years ago now. From the outside she was a fantastic looking girl, outgoing, the world was literally her oyster. She'd won a modeling contract and had just finished her calendar, with pictures on different beaches of the world. She had great friends too.

Yet she still hanged herself. Out of the blue.

It changed my opinion on suicide and mental illness, there's no going back once you've done it.

Would you find it funny Sarah if it was your mother or sister standing over that bridge then you came on a internet news site and there was a comment saying she should be taken the vets and put down?

Anyone who trys to kill themself are attention seeking!
For your information dava my brother 5 years ago killed himself so answer to your question is yes I know how it feels,if your going to do it you don't tell anyone you just do!end ov!

I'm sorry to hear about your brother Sarah, but I never asked if you knew how it felt. I asked how would you like it if it was your family member standing over the bridge and you seen comments on some internet forum saying she should be took to the vets and put down?

And you described those comments as a laugh.

I think you would find it highly offensive.

Yes people who do this are selfish i'm not saying they aren't, but to ridicule them and make fun of them on a public internet forum isn't the right thing to do.

woah how insensitive are you?

No one knows why this woman chose to put herself in this situation at the time but she must of been so very desperate at the time!!!

Hope she didnt do it and someone managed to get help for her.

Sorry don't agree, it's a need of medical help for the woman. (unless it's a smackead whistle )

Suppose your right, medical help, so are you volunteering to take her the vet to be put down? whistle

Very childish reply. I just hope that her family are not reading this.

Well said to previous poster!

My father took his own life in 98 then my half brother early 30's took his own life as well. I have even been admittied on a couple of occasions for attempted suicide even being a mother of two young children at the time, People called me selfish etc but unless they are in my shoes going through what i was going through at the time then they have no right to judge. Depression runs through our family and when you have that dark cloud over you and your head is in bits at the time when you are contemplating doing something to yourself no one else's feelings thoughts etc come into your thoughts. At that moment in time it is like your the only person on earth going through a very hard time etc and so obviously this lady on standing on the other side of the railings isnt going to be thinking rationally and traffic chaos, jams etc are going to be well out of thought for her.

People need to spare a thought for people who suffer with these kinds of thoughts day in day out.x

So, you hit out at me over a tongue in cheek comment without reading the whole thread!? Well done. I think you'll find I agreed with most of your rant.
