while we were away i bought a couple of motorcycles two wop burners, and a english classic.They are a ducati 999 and a ducati desmosedici, and the best a triumph T120 bonneville 1967,.And to stop straining the ice-cream van when we tow the trailer we bought a land rover defender 90 to use. and the bits i showed earlier in the photo,s for bertie,s little diesel well the parts dont work, so we bought a wop diesel engine to convert instead. Ah - The Duchess of Atholl ! That was the loco with my first train set. Hornby Dublo 3 rail. Built up a big layout when I was at school. Flogged the lot a few years after to go to Switzerland skiing. IDIOT ! Worth big money now if still with original boxes and in good condition. Ho-hum. Thanks Mike.

yes i was going to do stories of ann and i bonzo and tinkebell travelling across the world to get the black engine but i was running out of ideas and the ice-cream van was knackered like we were, plus it was going off the subject of the building of m.a.r railway a bit, and it was a bit silly.
