Genuine hard type bowler hat. Been stored (boxed) many years but superb condition. Cream silk lining and leather headband. Made by Scott & Co, 1 Old Bond St. London. “Hatmakers to the Queen”. Quite large size. Circumference 59cm – size 7 ¼ to 7 3/8 in older UK measurements. Oval fitting with 20cm front to back and 16cm side to side.
Far too good to be a “party hat” or to be thrown away. Much better if someone will really wear it – does anyone wear a bowler these days? Best donation to Help for Heroes will secure.

DO NOT throw this away.
If it really is a full silk lining with the label as described give these people a ring - 020 8300 4852 and ask for Alex Brown
He deals more with top hats rather than bowlers but he knows people within the industry.
If it's what I think it is it's worth a LOT more than you think.
