Thank you Pablo. Reminds me of happy times there when I was young.
A gang of us from school went there to see 'Psycho' the 1960 American suspense/horror film directed by Alfred Hitchcock and starring Anthony Perkins, Vera Miles, John Gavin, and Janet Leigh. We pretended we were sixteen to get in, and it scared us to bits.
Also saw 'West Side Story' at Gaumont.
Favourites were Saturday matinees at Liscard Palace and ABC Liscard. My brother and I thought the Manager of the Liscard Palace was 'God'and we were thrilled to be ushered into his office to get his autograph!
Used to go there with a couple of mates around 1980. They used to show Horror films at 10pm on a Saturday night, saw the likes of 'Carrie' & 'The Shining'. We got to know the two ushers & they would let us sneak in bottles of cider. I remember after the interval during 'The Shining' there was some hippy looking guy walking around shouting 'Who's robbed my mushrooms'. Happy days.
Last 2 I seen were nightmare on elm street freddys dead and dangerous minds.
I remember after watching dangerous minds we went out to the car and I had lost the keys, never found them, window and steering lock had to be smashed and car hotwired in order to get home.

You haven't spoilt it for me Max as I don't believe in that type of thing, but its normally jumped on very quick.
God help us, Come yourself, Don't send Jesus, This is no place for children.
