They are "Traffic Volume" camera's, You see them on most motorways and major A Roads, simply monitor the volume of traffic and traffic jams, thats all.....

17/04/04 New Speed Camera added to the list. Driving from Junction 2 towards B&Q there is a temp Speed Camera, hiding just after the last bridge across the motorway. As you come around the courner towards junction 1 its after the last bridge and as the road rises for the B&Q Fly over.. Note the image may not be as acurate as i would like as i didnt have the GPS in the car. All the speed camear's have now been removed ? EXCEPT 1, which is the one shown aboveHope this helps... 29th May 2004 hope this helps

Does anyone know id the ones in queensferry are still there??
Did anyone else thinkit was quite cheeky to hide first of the cameras on the M53 behind a sign as your heading towards b'head???
