Gyros, pronounced Gee-ross, not Jee-ross, if you get my drift. It's a Greek mix of spices/herbs that goes with lamb, and very well it does go with it too. I made a mistake anyway, it was pork steaks with Franks Original Hot Cayenne Sauce, I was mis-led. Today it's Greek Salad, which is just the same as ours.

Hey BandyCoot...love the gyros you get in Germany....where did you get your mix from?...if you made it yourself could I have a list of the ingredients please

Hey BandyCoot...love the gyros you get in Germany....where did you get your mix from?...if you made it yourself could I have a list of the ingredients please I bought a big bag in Lincoln Market a good while ago. Still keep an eye out in case I run out. Think you may be able to find the mixing formula somewhere on the net, worth a try. I do my own garam masala and it's great.
