Windows XP and Windows 7 are about the best things Mircosoft has done. Windows Vista was too heavy and slow, and Windows 8 is more for tablets than laptops. I know a lot of new windows 8 laptops have touch screens, but why would you want to lift your hand up off your mouse? It wasn't well thought out. They were probably scared of releasing a new version that was too similar to previous ones so they tried something new. Stick with the system that's been around for 20 years, we all know it works, just improve on it and make it more reliable.

As TudorBlue Says, Use VLC Player, Free To Download Too. That Program Will Play Almost Anything At All. Cheers
