For my future ref. Anyone tried to drop off or collect anyone from there by car.bus only signs double yellows etc every where. Lad managed to jump out at a red traffic light at 1.30am but collecting him near midnight i ended up half mile away in an empty coach park.when he finally turned his mobile on it was to tell me he had managed to catch last train to hamilton square.used to be easy when megabus stopped near brownlow hill

Why not just go across the road to the Albert Dock / Pumphouse?
Or carry on past the bus station, take the next left and park down any of those streets, there's a cut through behind Liverpool One bus station.

cheers Gibbo. wasn't sure what was off to the left --was expecting double yellows. Did drive around Albert Dock couple of times --are the car parks at Albert Dock free--mind you at that time of night could just sit off in one

I think they're pay and display but until 6 or 7pm. The ones by the Liver building are free after 6.
You used to be able to park on single yellows for free after 6 but I'm not sure if they changed that a couple of years back. But you should be OK for dropping off and picking up.
