The Blue Nowhere. Jeffery Deaver - The Readers Digest version because it condenses the best parts. A thriller with a computor hacking setting which was exciting but easy to follow ,considering Im rubbish with computers .

'The Trap' by Kimberley Chambers. Book one of a Trilogy.

Love all these crime/ gangster/ gritty/ reality books. Similiar authors of the same genre include Martina Cole, Mandasue Heller, Jessie Keane and Jacqui Rose.

'Camerons Coup'(How The Tories Took Britain To The Brink) by Polly Toynbee/ David Walker is a-waiting in the queue....going to start reading tomoz as a commuter on the bus/ fag break/dinner time read. 'Kim' books et al,to be continued during leisure time

I have started 3 books in the'44 Scotland Street' Series by Alexander McCall Smith, who is the Author of 'Re No1 Ladies Detective Agency'

I recently read his'Unusual Uses For Olive Oil' which is about the escapades of a German Professor who is a snob. It is one of the funniest books I have read and I found it was rather droll.

I am reading "The Thing Itself" by Adam Roberts. It is science fiction based on the idea of using artificial intelligence to prove Immanuel Kant's thesis that the universe we perceive is filtered by our human perceptions and the reality beneath is bizarrely different.

May sound dry, but it's utterly absorbing.

Are these the type you mean Pax ? Just found them on web. Looks as if Peter and Jane have got older like the rest of us, but have not necessarily grown-up.

almost finished The Liverpool Pals, 17,18,19 and 20 battalions, of the Liverpool kings Regiment. The 1st 3 battalions when into the line as complete battalions and the 20th was used to supplement them and other pals battalions as losses mounted.
