I believe Jeremy Corbyn is sincere enough, and he doesnt seem extreme to me, but as someone said, truth is a matter of perception ,and it seems in politics that its a permanent seesaw , sliding from one extreme to the other ,pausing for a while centrally, so I think its likely that the present Labour situation may well be perceived by those who remember, as a similar scenario to the seventies where the genuinely sincere Labour leader John Hamilton was carefully nudged into position to eventually be used as a puppet by Militant tendency led by Derek Hatton -Could Corbyn = Hamilton once he's in?

Not clued up enough in politics to know if this is the same sort of thing or not, people are saying its not, but it does look similar and I agree with Chris , that if you end up with someone who is perceived as too left wing, (whether he is really or not) then it means you wont attract people who are sitting on the left margins of Conservatism , so how can you increase the Labour votes.

If some of you didn't see the breakdown of this referendum , it does make interesting reading. Particularly at the bottom where all areas have been printed. Scotland's vote was not as extreme in favour of 'remain' as one might have thought either i.e. in percentages .
