I went there from about 1995 to 2001  my mum's worked there as a teaching assistant for fourteen years, haha.

I remember Mr Gay the Head in 1969 getting us all into the hall to watch the 1st moon landing. I am so glad he did this now...

@Digital_twiddler... I went to Woodchurch Road Primary in the '50's. A Mr Gay was there. A tall chap who had bad scarring to his face. The story was he was a fighter pilot in the war and was shot down in flames?
Is this the same Mr Gay I wonder? A kindly soul I recall.

Great find! Visiting Gladstone Dock on the ferry and the Overhead Railway and country dancing at 11...That was real education...How times have changed!

I went there 1978 to 1983 headmaster was Ken Tasker back then and others i remember was Mr Unwin and Mrs Rotherroe.
Started at 6 years old after moving to the area and left at 11 to go to big school
