Hello! I am trying to find some general information about a small street in Birkenhead, long since demolished. My grandmother lived at #2 Campbell Terrace as a very young girl, circa 1900.
I believe there were only 8 houses on the street. Does anyone have any more information, links, or photos (fingers crossed!).
And, were the houses owned by the Church?
Their proximity to Charles Thompson mission was probably key to the family's survival. They were in and out of the workhouse twice between 1899 - 1902.
Thank you!
Kim
