I think there is a vintage vehicle storage/club along Wallasey Dock Road between Duke Street and Penny Bridge?
Since companies have popped up acting as agents for people's drives and garages prices have gone really silly (eg asking £30 a day for a driveway).

Hooton Airport Trust might still store vintage vehicles.
Some 20ft container storage places allow you to store cars in the containers, a bit expensive on Wirral, cheaper in North Wales, cheapest I know is by Greenfield.
Self-Storage places ask silly money for outdoor let alone indoor but some removal firms are more reasonable and have indoor storage.
Sometimes its worth wandering around and see if you can find an industrial unit under-utilised and ask, a lot of small firms are happy for any extra income.
If you could find a group of reliable people you could rent a place together but generally some members don't pay up and it all falls to pieces.
tl;dr its not cheap these days
