Why is it that some missing people get news media saturation and others don't?
Why is it that the news media dig up all the history on some people but not others?
Jay Dean Slater, missing in Tenerife is possibly an example of both of these.
Jay Dean Slater is currently under an eighteen month community service order for being one of eight thugs who attacked and severely injured Tom Hilton with machetes, golf clubs and an axe. Both the CPS and the Judge were very lenient on this gang, they were charged with lesser offences than wounding and the Judge hoped they could be reformed despite them laughing and joking throughout the trial.
Why are the media staying quiet on this? Why are many other missing people not getting any publicity?
Is it the same Jay Slater?
Looks the same, same age, same name, same area Oswaldtwistle/Accrington but apparently one is a saint and one is a thug.
