Yeah i'm really looking forward to this too. Just hope the weather stays dry for us all.
It's getting booked up quickly now and i've seen a potential few fast cars going on the track by the 'York Track Team'. It doesn't give any indication of what the cars are or the BHP but I reckon they're going to be quick and show us all up!

Well I thought my R33 was too slow for the track, the Prelude a bit too bland & boring so I went for a R32 GT Type M . Very rare car and mind blowing even in standard form so just wait until I get my hands on it. You would have thought I would have learnt my lesson from my previous history with turbo cars . The idea was to sell one of them but i'll probably end up keeping all 3 of them if i'm honest with myself. Got a few bits ordered already for it so i'm just hoping it will all be ready on the day. Nothing really needs changing on it but it would be nice to have even more power but not so much the engine dies after the 1st lap.

As long as you dont do something stupid like turn up the boost with no mods and put 100bhp jets off nos in then you'll be ok lol

No i'm not getting NOS on it otherwise it's another 3k for an engine rebuild when it blows.
Probably go with Apexi boost controller, larger intercooler, dump valve and water injection in the near future to keep things reliable. Not sure if I can get the boost controller or intercooler installed and set up before the track day so may have to revert back to the crude method of a bleed valve and uprated actuator for now. Tesco 99RON and a couple of tins of octane booster should also help.

I paid a deposit of £50, went to collect the car with the cash and then saw another one I liked better so paid another £950 deposit and collect it next Wednesday hopefully, after it's had it's SVA test, MOT and been registered: It's got the fattest kit i've ever seen on a Skyline but needs the wheels changing. There are 2 different sets of wheels on it for some reason. It's not going to be going round the track that quick though, I don't think i'm going to have time to do the brakes but it has got adjustable coilovers on it so should handle well (when I get used to it).

I will go as an observer. Not to go on the track, as my car is not really suited to it yet...

I've already paid this morning. I know spannerman (mark) is also confirmed in his Lotus so that's 2 of us paid so far.
Gonna feel slightly intimidated by the Noble though.

Do you really have to take a photo license? It's just that I haven't got a photo one, only a paper one!!!!!! Could be a slight problem for me that?????
