You can actually get solinoids put into the wing mirrors to open the doors - i think tvr use them?! but don't qoute me. it was something i'd read in an old magazine, so i couldn't tell you any more details. hope this helps any way mate!

get it done with the solenoid, then get a scrap door from the scrappy, keep that till MOT time an put the door on, doesnt matter if its a different colour or rusty or a really tatty door, just as long as its got a handle that opens the door, so you can pass your MOT then get home an put your de-handeled door on

yep that happens, say if you were stoped for doing 31mph in a 30, they might check your tax, tyres etc an pick on the fact u dont have door handles, i'd say the officer wud have to be in a very bad mood or you'd of had to do something very bad for them to pick on it.

Dont know if this just flames the issue But.. I went to the classic car show. This TVR Below had smooth doors too. It was opend on a Key fob, and i happened to ask her what can your do if your fob breaks ? Goes Flat?? And there was a sneaky button under the wing mirror that could open the door? Somthing like that anyway, mabey a chip scan or somthing i cant remember But look no handles... you can just see the sensor underneath..

M.O.T. Laws :
Your front doors must be able to open from both the inside and the outside of the vehicle. Rear doors must be able to open from either the inside or the outside.
No Mention of doors opening electronicaly or manualy at all. The Majority of simply think that there "GOD" and they make the rules up to suit. If i got a Vehicle defect notice for this so called offence i would take it all of the way and make a complete **** out of the responsable to teach him a lesson.... Rant over

i know a cool mod have you seen the doors that open when you push them stick the fastner on your door so if you need to open them you just push an it pops back out but if its locked it wont come out easy flat doors that open by hand
