i am looking for a cheap first time car, im looking in the £1000- £1500 mark.
Gotta look tidy, doesnt have to be modded just be able to last me a few years, until i get more money.

Check out www.autotrader.co.uk i know alot people who have bought cars from here. What engine size are you looking at, how much have you got for insurance?

ive got a job so insurance and stuff isnt a problem cos i dont smoke and i dont like drinking either so its easy ****

i say get urself a mark 1 clio. older style ones have got a 4 speed box so try and avoid them if u can. can get a low mileage one for about £1000-£1300. i was lookin into gettin one at first so....... <img border="0" alt="[cwhelp]" title="" src="graemlins/cwemotions041.gif" /> but please please please dont be gettin a nova.

tarrrrr 106 : Not a bad first car, generally reliable and mods are available, can be a little pricey if they need repairing compared to some other similar cars.
Punto : Cheap cars however they are not very reliable and cheap built from new.
Fiesta : Cheap cars from new, plenty cheap mods available, not to bad in reliability issues, can suffer from corrosion though....
Corsa : Cheap Built but quite good reliability. Do not suffer from corrosion allot, Cheap to repair and Plenty mods are available at good prices.
Clio : Well built, not the cheapest to repair but they are relaible, mods available also.

thanks aceritz. gotta agree with you there fella. shame it's gotta go but unemployment is a pain. the hours are great but the pay is rubbish.
