Anyone make it? If so, congratulations, you have a car fast enough to keep up with the convoy leader, who seemed to be trying to loose us all. Eventually, he did, save for a few and everyone else turned 'round and went home as we had no idea where we were driving!
Really wanted to go to this, so if anyone has any photos post them up for us.

Apparently the convoy ended up in Telford or summut (Telford - Cruise north wales ) Not heard many good reports about it, including the convoy down the single laned A41 etc. Prolly best you came home TBH
What If There Were No Hypothetical Questions?

We were going down the A41, I was about 10-15 cars back from the leader, I saw some lights just ahead of him change from green to orange... and he just kept going. About 5 cars went through the red light to keep up with him before someone about 3 cars ahead saw sense and stopped. We kept going, maybe they had pulled into a layby further down, but no such luck Yeah, weird having a North Wales associated cruise in mid-west England lol. Cheers Stu.

telford is only a few minutes away from wales. I remember when i used to be based at cosford (9 miles from telford) i'd drive into wales, then go up wales and meet the bottom of the M53. (faster than using the '41)
And the A41 starts at the rock and passes alongside the camp gates of RAF cosford.its quite a fun road.
What a twunt of a convoy leader, maybe they shudda told some people the route, i kinda fail to see the point of long long convoys (they can be good) if i was going to a big event then i'd want to know the route just incase i got seperated/or bored of doing 40 lol

classic senareo, every time a convoy gets going the leader buggerers off, i have been in some dodgy convoys i tell thee, not any more, got to have more sence than a pee to do one of them things
Uncertainty or not knowing causes depression, Im happy because I know I'm going to die one day!
