Not bad speeds then - remember RADSL and ADSL2+ are both dependent upon how far you are away from the exchange, how good your line is and how subscribed the DSLAM is.

Its almost certainly over-subscribed in area's like Wirral, so if your not on Sky/Easynet ADSL2+ hardware, the speed will suffer a bit.

I get around 800KB/s, but im only 1.69km from the exchange and am on Sky/Easynet hardware as opposed to a BT L2TP.

Just had the exact same happen with a work colleague, was told they could have the full package for £26 a month. Only to get their "this is what your paying letter" for £54 a month with only 2 channel mixes.

Although my broadband might be this BT Connect, it is complete rubbish, hardly ever works frown

Need to wait till my next bill to see if mine really is sorted.

still having loads of problems, took about an hour to connect this morning.

Of course, it is the exchange that is at fault. Considering i have never had any technical problems with tiscali, all the problems start happening with Sky.

The "technician" was trying to blame my computer, apparently because i didn't install their free virus program that is the only reason why my computer couldn't connect to the internet.

even though i explained to her that i am a network technician and could connect to the router and could see that was down.
