Afaik, the lighthouse is under private ownership - I think it summit to do with the observatory but that was turned into flats a while back, i dunno if it still is however??
Well I went back there tonight, and found what appears to be the remains of two other entrances.
There was apparently an entrance behing the stones and concrete here, but a mount of mud was also built upto it to cover it.
Id say it isnt the best protected to entrances, although that is in known saying its easy to breach, it would take a considerable amount of elbow grease, but either way I think it would be easier then the main entrance.
Another view of the second entrance.
Now, I am not entirely sure, but according to peeps on the 28 days later thread, this entrance is another one, that has practically been left unprotected, other then by the mud, basically because its quite well hidden and not very noticeable.
I didnt have time to try anything or have a proper look though, I was just hoping to find it.
Oh yeah, its quite an eery place to go on you own, especially as its been a dull day, was starting to get dark and the surrounding area of the second entrance location is quite overgrown...
When I seen the path that led to it, I wasnt gonna go up there at first n just hope it was elsewhere, but curiosity got the better of me lol.
And it didnt help the fact there was summit rummaging around in the bushes next to it, not to mention a massive fallen tree that looked like it was a prop for a horror movie lmao!!
