Alinco DJX7 scanner tuned into local Air Traffic and other crap as the police dont broadcast analog anymore the scanner is useless but its still here..

I take it the Tunnel force are still using TETRA then? Cos havent the Merseyside Police moved across to digital now n its encrypted?(dunno if its still classed as TETRA like, but the one I always knew was analogue hehe).

Yer merseyside police have moved to Tetra but Tunnel police use this Frequency for In tunnel communications i dunno why they use it but i think there gonna phaze it out soon as its not used as much anymore...

The tetra network they brought was the OLD dolphin phone one i think and they just adpated it to there own i dont think dolphin phones work anymore cause of this but i aint sure have to do some research.... Anyway this thread is goin off topic so i'll shoosh ! :>
