Hi! This is AMAZING! I knew there were tunnels under the hill as there are some arches cut into the hill that you can get to from Boundary road. They are all blocked off, but I always wanted to know what was behind them! Great work, have enjoyed following your progress. On another note, I have been down the tunnels at New Brighton when I was a kid. A house near the Red Noses has an entrance leading to the tunnels, and they used to have one open day every year, where you could go down there. I remember one small tunnel that was supposed to go all the way to St Hilary's brow, I wanted to go and find out if it did but my dad pulled me back out... always wanted to go back there and check it out.
As i drove past the "Entrance" tonight it looks like it could be once again be getting sealed up? I say that as there was a community Patrol van at the edge of the trees and a community police officer watching the van i think and taking to some young kids.
Only guessing, but if its not i cant see it being very much longer.
fook me, any need for the amount of steel and concrete.
looks like someone like me could squeeze through the gap on the left still.

Wonder what the big idea is why they dont want you in there ?? cause by the looks at the photos the tunnels arnt leaking, they arnt falling apart and top it all off it looks great in there.
