can remember about 15 yrs ago the boats were down there... a hovercraft came onto "the shore" (bit of sand at the bottom of new ferry/rock ferry) and they let me and my bro go onboard and have a look... would have let us go out on it but my parents were at work and my gran n grandad werent about to give their consent! lol... was a marlboro designed craft with red carpets inside if anyone else has seen it elsewhere... was only about enough room for 4 people lol
