Well, I cut averything a bit fine today.
Had my medical very last thing

and got up to Three Sisters Race Way in Wigan for 11am this morning.
6 people where taking the test today, so as soon as we arrived we where all taken out on our own for 6 or 7 sighting laps to get to see the track, and have the braking points / turn in points/ clipping points and apex's shown to us.
Then is was a classromm session for about 45 mins where safety etc where explained followed by the practical test. 3 Sisters are currently using Mini Cooper S's, so it was out on the track on one of those. After about 8-10 laps of getting used to the car, and the track (it was wet today also) and gradually building speed you than had 3 laps on which to be assesed

This was a demonstration, of being smooth and fast, but whilst always being in control of the car - no understeer / oversteer, and no sharp deviations - not so easy on a wet, slippery track!!!
I got through that OK, and the instuctor was happy to pass me

Then it was back to the classroom for a written / multiple choice exam

Thankfully, Ive spent plenty of time studying the "Blue Book", and managed to get 100% on the test!!
Im now the holder of a National B
RACE license
