Sorry to disappoint you guy's... but this is American shite lol, and with the writer's strike, according to peeps on WHT, they have seriously cut down series 4 for obvious reason's. Dunno if it's being cut into 8 and then 8 episodes later on in the year, or the entire series is just cut down, but it's had some sort of cutdown. They probably found it financially impossible to wait until the strike is resolved, as is the way with American's!

still better than most of the british shite that on ! I'll admit aunty have been a bit lame since the new year... the last 3 months or so of 2007 were absolutely amazing by their usual standard's, but they havent had much on lately. Things tend to pick up in the spring though. Just wait for the new series of Doctor Who!

I seem to recall the last episode of Doctor Who got erm... 14 million viewer's (over 60% of the entire UK audience) on the air date; that is beside's iPlayer and BBC Three showings! I wonder how many people will be watching the new series of Lost... a few million tops! As to which is obviously better (ie. more people are interested in watching): Case closed.

Doesnt matter what audience it appeal's too; beside's, estimates rekon more than half the viewer's of Doctor Who are actually "of adult age" (not sure if this means 14+, 16+ or 18+ yano what their like nowadays), so say only 6 - 7million are adult's, that still leave's it mile's ahead of Lost in terms of popularity. There are a lot of people I know who are well over the age of 30 who enjoy watching the modern format of Doctor Who... none of them seemed to like the old format however.

i used to hate doctor who as akid but the new format is very watchable .the age range in this house is 5-40 and it is one of the few programs we all sit down together to watch.as for lost cant stand it..
It all makes perfect sense expressed in dollars and cents ,pound shillings and pence

Funny Really....I used to watch the old Dr Who non stop....whereas the new format I cant stand..although still do watch it....David Tenat is ok, but I think what theyve done with the writing of the scripts etc...and action scenes...just seem to fake and too hollywoodised...eg....The doctor walking away from a huge explosion...without looking behind or flinching etc.... Also..in my view..the daleks in this one, just arent up to scrath..neither were the cybermen to be perfectly honest...theres just something about the new series that to me makes it seem like its specifically aimed at kids...the first of the enw series was good tho, i must admit....
