I hope you all enjoyed the trip as much as I did; we must do it again some time. Having said that, every time I come up, I leave feeling a bit sad; although I haven't lived there for 50 years, I still think of it as home. Sometimes I think I should move back, then I think "well, it's only 1 1/2 hours away & where I live there aren't as many scallies & I'd miss my friends here". Thanks for the pics. so far; looking forward to seeing the videos. Anyone who wants old maps should look at www.alangodfreymaps.co.uk Mark; I think your road should be on the Bidston map. Here's the only pic. I took & even that's a bit out of focus.
Fantastic views from the top of the Tower as allways cheers guys i see you had a fantastic day damn i wish i was with yers.. Could of narrated the whole history to you's hehe How did you guys like the Priory museum get scared heh! Tell you something which has made me See RED is the vandalism to the res near woodside.. I cannot believe the vistors centre isnt at woodside anymore DANG!!. Love the pictures from the Transport musuem been there once but was always a regular at the Pacific road base before it got turned into the Arts centre fantastic acoustics inside there.. Damn i could go on all night.... The pictures of the vent shaft Still cant believe to this day its all built by brick hehe.. Anyway i'll shoosh
