There will be at least me, Mark and Jonno39, don't know where we're going yet, but I'm sure Mark has a master plan, probably be there around 7.

This evening I took a drive down to the potential viewing areas
The first Pic shows the view from the bridge. I then looked for somewhere on the opposite side of the dock. POTENTIALLY there is a good view if the gate is open Sunday morning. The area looks deserted so I think it will be. Come from Penny Bridge end of the Wallasey dock road until you see blue railings and an open gate on your right and opposite a "training centre" building on your left that is up for sale. Park up and go through the blue gates and alongside the (shuttered) building onto the dockside. At that point you can only just see the cranes from the edge of the dock. The second pic was taken from that point (with about 300mm tele lens). However if you walk along the back of that building towards Duke St bridge then you get a much better view.
This latter viewpoint is possibly better for anyone getting up late and who cannopt get access to the Duke St area (which I guess will be pretty crowded anyway despite the early hour).
