was i calling you personally a glory hunter? You've engaged your keyboard without thinking this through haven't you? where exactly does jealousy come into it? if i was saying "18 league titles and 5 european cups mean f#ck all, league 1 is where its at" that would be jealousy but im not am I? Im sticking my opinion on a shared stadium and before you get back on to all that "but you support a small club, how dare you have an opinion" it is on a public forum that is how my opinion cropped up!
"can you describe the assailant?" "er, 6ft3, moustache" "my, thats a big moustache!"

hahaha. Am I not qualified to give this opinion? I was born a Liverpool supporter, my father was a supporter, grandfather, great grandfather. I don't go every game anymore, but I used to hold a season ticket and go home and away. I feel I'm entitled to express an opinion about the team I was raised to support, and your accusation that I'm some sort of glory hunting armchair fan is laughable, and shows you don't have a valid retort. If I claimed to be a fan and had never set foot in Anfield my entire life, my opinion on the matter would still count, whereas yours clearly do not.
Lets get back on topic shall we. Why the hell would a Tranmere fan call a Liverpool supporter who doesn't want to share a ground 'whiney'? Why? Are you jealous, a little bitter maybe? Perhaps you belive as a supporter of a lower league team you represent some sort of hard core common sense? That because your team isn't very succesfull that makes you a better football supporter? I suggest you restrain your idiocy and worry about your own team... let me worry about mine.
What sort of supporter thinks the traditions and identity of their team is aload of hype and bollix that should be jettisoned to save a few quid?
You've engaged your keyboard without thinking this through haven't you? typical red "we are bigger than you blah blah blah...im a proud tranmere fan whether we win or not footy is footy but at least in the lower leagues there are less fairys!!!

Ok. I think I understand. Your a Tranmere fan, who tinks that Liverpool and Everton should share a super stadium in Liverpool? No. I'm still at a bit of a loss as to where your opinion comes into it. I don't dare you. I'm not whining when I say I don't think it would be a good idea for Liverpool and Everton to share a stadium... armchair or not.

It probably won't matter at all what we the fans want anyway! It will be out of our hands no doubt. Not one Everton fan I know, including myself, wanted to move the ground to Kirkby yet the go ahead was given anyway.
I agree that we all need to grow in order to be competitive with the other PLC's but at what cost? Alienating the very people that make the clubs what they are!?! This isn't just an Everton and Liverpool problem, I know a few Arsenal fans that were not happy with the Emirates move but c'est la vie.
All the arguing in the world won't change a thing - the clubs will do what THEY want, or more to the point, what the Purse holders want! Sad but true.

Im more into Motorsport (well obv) But I do enjoy Football. Sharing a stadium, it has its pros nd cons. If it did come about, Liverpool and Everton would probably become the laughing stocks of the Premiership.
I dont agree with all the crap about oh were Liverpool, youre Tranmere, youre not in Premiership so shut up... End of the day, the Premiership isnt football, its a Business. The best people have the most money, which is why every Premierhsip game Ive gone to, have bored me to hell.
Im with the opinion that football needs a BIG BIG change around. Liverpool should only have players who come from Liverpool, Manchester players from Manchester.Chelsea from a bin etc etc. That would give a better sense of Tribality, presence name etc... Because atm, chanting Liverpool, and seeing dutch people running around, just doesnt make sense. No doubt I gonna get stick for that, but go on, lay it on me.

To watch men run around a pitch for 90 minutes trying to get a ball into a net is rubbish its all about the money and you all know it.. How on earth is it a skill to play with a ball ?? I say kill football off all together and let it rest in peace ??

So many peopla are into football and so many differing opinions, whatever gets decided, a group of people are going to end up unhappy! All im saying is, if what has happened in the past (distant, if your a blue! :r:) and rather than kirby/shared you would rather your club stay where they are, they will get left behind. I personally would like to see the reds and blues up there challenging before anyone calls me bitter!

PARRY: GROUND SHARE NOT BEING CONSIDEREDRick Parry has again ruled out a ground share with Everton and insisted Liverpool's new stadium will be built. Speaking on Radio Five Live's Sportsweek programme this morning, the Reds Chief Executive again stressed the club's committment to a new stadium on Stanley Park, but insisted it makes no sense to press ahead with plans in the current difficult economic climate. "Ground share is not being considered," said Parry. "With the financial markets in the turmoil as they are, any major construction project at this time is difficult, it is risky. source
