My dog went missig from the Moreton / Wallasey area on Saturday night. Im not sure if he's been stolen or is lost but if you see him could somebody grab him. My numbers on the collar. If you see someone with him could you post the date & where abouts on here ?
Cheers i will take a look in Tesco tonight, and i didnt even know that Wallasey Police station had a pound ? I'll check that out too. Thanks for the help.
Iv put the missing poster up on loads of bins. He still hasnt turned up so im starting to think that sopme scally might have took his collar off and kept him. Im thinking of advertising a reward for him, see if that helps.
i seen this dog advertised as lost on a phonebox on grove road wallasey, junction of claremount next to the football field, hope you find him soon mate
when my dog went missing the rspca told me not to put a reward on it. thats why dogs get robbed so the scally can cash in on the reward. they told me to put that. (due to illness he has to go to vets regular for injections at a cost.) hope this helps
Can I offer a bit of advice? Take a photo round to the postal sorting offices, ask them to stick it on the notice board and leave your number. Postmen go in every road going so there is a good chance they will spot the dog. If you want to know where all the Wirral sorting offices are then PM me.
When I worked the post if someone got a car nicked we spread the word and it was generally found pretty quickly.
i think offer reward then batter the collector of it, unless its a little old lady. dunno, they are capable of ransom things too, do her in i say. really hope you find him, must be quite upsetting
needed to change this for years. so now i have. ha
Can you give us actual roads he was spotted in, give us an idea of what sort of areas (built-up, fields etc) he prefers, that way we can detour our routes to match and look out for him.

Thanks very much for all the help. Much appreciated.
Yes he is a daft dog and really friendly, he would not have a problem with anyone getting hold of him or following someone.
If you shout "Taff", he would probably run towards you anyway.
Iv had two phone calls both were sightings but they didnt get hold off him. I dont know if they realised my mobile No is on his collar. Anyway first sighting was on Mill Lane in Greasby, heading up towards the Irby Mill. Then a few days later on Satuday he was spotted walking up the main road from West Kirby into Heswall, which i presume was Telegraph road. All the sightings seem to be in the morning so maybe he comes into urban areas at that time to try and get food ??
Anyways, i have put his progress on a map. I feel like im tracking a fugitive !
Just worried now cos he will have gone 8 days without food
We have managed to find our dog but unfortunately his body was washed up at New Brighton this morning. I would like to thank everybody who helped and the guys on the forum for keeping his picture up for so long.
Sorry to hear that matey, must be a terrible time for yourself and family, as said he looked a lovely little pooch and sounded like he had a great personality.
I agree with others, just think of all the good times you had with him!
I recently had a Neon Gourami (a tropical fish) contract the Gourami Irrodovirus and he was my pride and joy in the tank; he battled on for weeks and weeks longer than they are supposed to, but incidentally, I buried him at New Brighton!
So sorry mate, my deepest thoughts to you and your family. I can only imagine in my worst thoughts what you are all going thru, and what a way to find out. I have 3 "kids" myself and the idea of that puts the fear of god into me! RIP Taff
i feel gutted for you mate. at least there was always hope with so many eyes looking from here cos you can be sure if someone here had seen him, well you know. all the best
needed to change this for years. so now i have. ha
