It looks very kit / prototype-ish
The front lights look very poorly mounted for a production car.
Is it a modified version of a production car? Initial thoughts where Mini Marcos, but they had square lights...

It was put in production for a purpose, but failed ai its task and was pulled. Only a few examples ever existed

Ill give you all the answer now, as I think its gone on long enough.
The car is a Ford GT70, a sportscar designed to compete in rallying, but it was a huge failure, and Ford stuck with the Mighty Escort
Similar in shape to the Ford GT40.. but obviously much smaller.
