Anyone remember the wooden annex that was part of Lingham Primary school on Maryland Lane when the school had 3 sites?

Mal Holmes who is the drummer with Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark (OMD) went there: late 60s / early 70s.

Are you thinking of Tollemache School on the traffic lights. Naughty boys used to be sent there at weekends to scrub the floors, that would be in the sixties.

God help us,

I went to Weatherhead. The only thing that makes me sad about it`s demolision is the on the middle school site (where new primary has been built) in the hall they had the great big leather embossed(?) signs of all the old head girls. By the time I got there I think they`d given up on appointing head girls. Shame I never took much interest in the schools history. I heard it was bombed in WWII and that a girl died in the hall after falling from the balcony, if that is true, then now I am very sorry. I can remember looking over the balcony with that story in my head. Can anyone help on that?
