there was a pet shop by were max speilman was on the cross and it had a very friendly miner bird......not sure if it was called stroads

Anyone from Wallasey will always remember the small Kiosk at the bottom of Church Street and Liscard Road. Disappeared in the early 90s. Crackin' little place too...

there was a pet shop by were max speilman was on the cross and it had a very friendly miner bird......not sure if it was called stroads I remember the Parrot in Richies Pet shop (The Pet Centre when it was on the same block as Max Spielmans. It was called Lucky and used to say Hello and Goodbye.

Do you remember Gearbox? On Charing Cross, used to sell all the latest clothes. Inn Things in Grange Road also sold the latest fashions, got my first pair of Loons there and my Budgie jacket.
Rox Records, there were two in Birkenhead, one on Borough Road where GBTours is now and one on the corner of Argyle Street and Market Street.
