Yep, there were quite a few songs that were improved by the phasing/fading on Luxembourg.

Did anyone listen to Voice of Russia to find out what our Government was going to announce in the NEXT week or so.

My uncle was a DJ on MAR.

Granada made a documentary about MAR which was broadcast from The Heights in Moreton.

Theres even a clip of the 80s GPO Vans.

I used to fall asleep most nights listening to Luxemburgh 208. Used to listen to the Top 20 on a Tuesday night. Always had the best music first. I remember Kid Jensen on there, who else DJed for them? Was Noel Edmonds on there? I think Emperor Rosko was on as well.

Pirate radio station i remember was Sound FM smile Anyone remember that ?? Cant remember the god damn freqencie but yer played the usual dance music and my radio was tuned in to it every saturday it also got its debut from time to time on Channel 19 on the Citzens band radio smile

yeh I remember listening to SCR, I lived in the block of flats in Sidney Road (Hadlow Gardens) they used to broadcast from the next block 9 /10th floor and you could see the 'wires' could be antenna? going from the varanda into the trees, I vaguely remember it being raided live on air.
