The guy who built most of the transmitters was called burt and lived around the woodchurch area

How about those of us who use to listen to the top 20 on radio Luxenburgh 208 on a sunday night at 8 oclock. Happy carefree days Yep, there were quite a few songs that were improved by the phasing/fading on Luxembourg. Did anyone listen to Voice of Russia to find out what our Government was going to announce in the NEXT week or so. EDIT - aka Radio Moscow World Service

remember a lad called john who run a pirate station (cant remember the name of it )from kingsland rd , think he went on to work for a computer co when he left school.

remember storeten community radio knew one of the d.js when merseywaves was around i was building fences on the lingham my son does footy training at lingham primary now

How about those of us who use to listen to the top 20 on radio Luxenburgh 208 on a sunday night at 8 oclock. Happy carefree days I used to fall asleep most nights listening to Luxemburgh 208. Used to listen to the Top 20 on a Tuesday night. Always had the best music first. I remember Kid Jensen on there, who else DJed for them? Was Noel Edmonds on there? I think Emperor Rosko was on as well.

Pirate radio station i remember was Sound FM  Anyone remember that ?? Cant remember the god damn freqencie but yer played the usual dance music and my radio was tuned in to it every saturday it also got its debut from time to time on Channel 19 on the Citzens band radio

yeh I remember listening to SCR, I lived in the block of flats in Sidney Road (Hadlow Gardens) they used to broadcast from the next block 9 /10th floor and you could see the 'wires' could be antenna? going from the varanda into the trees, I vaguely remember it being raided live on air.
