I have a 54 Daewoo Lacetti 1.6SX, the window regulator appears to have kicked the bucket on the front passenger side. I am having a nightmare time trying to find a new or used one, I have looked on ebay & tried NWAC, the mechanic who diagnosed (!!) the problem say's (?) he has been the scrappy...does anyone know if I can use another make ie Vauxhall or does it HAVE to be Daewoo?

yours isnt the black estate knocking round by derbyroad/woodlandsis it?

yours isnt the black estate knocking round by derbyroad/woodlandsis it? No, it's not an estate, I live the other side of Birkenhead (Park) HOSEMAN it's electric & were can I find Chris  I took it to a garage & was told it's the regulator (!)

sorted wasnt the regulator etc the glass was catching on something

Daewoo's use cables to wind the windows up (like bicycle brake cable), one of these will have snapped. I've seen a couple do this, it's a common fault.
